This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, keep, and protect personal information when you visit pcmasters-shop.com, create an account or check out as a guest, buy a digital product, contact our support team by email, phone, or live chat, sign up for marketing messages, submit a review, or otherwise interact with our website, ads, or services. It applies mainly to customers and visitors in the United States, Canada, and Australia.

1. Information we collect

What we collect depends on how you interact with us.

Contact and account details: your name, email address, account login (with your password stored in encrypted or hashed form), phone number if you provide it, billing address or country, state, province, territory, or postal code where needed, and your marketing and support preferences. Most digital orders can be completed without a phone number or full postal address unless your payment method, tax rules, fraud checks, invoicing, or the law require them.

Order details: order number, products purchased, price, currency, taxes, date and time, payment and delivery status, product key delivery records, activation and replacement history, refunds, exchanges and chargebacks, discount codes used, and fraud check results.

Payment details: payments are handled by Shopify and its payment partners, together with wallet providers such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Your card details go directly to the payment processor, and we do not receive or store your full card number or security code. We may receive limited details such as card brand, last four digits, payment method, payment country, authorization status, risk indicators, and transaction references.

Device and usage details: when you use the website, we and our service providers may automatically collect your IP address and approximate location, browser, device type, operating system, language, referring website, pages viewed, links clicked, searches on our site, cart activity, session length, advertising and cookie identifiers, ad conversion and attribution data, visit times, and technical error and security logs.

Support details: when you contact us, we may collect your messages, live chat history, emails, screenshots, error messages, device and operating system details, order information, and anything else you choose to share. Please do not send us passwords, full card numbers, government ID numbers, or other sensitive information we have not asked for.

Reviews and testimonials: if you submit a review, photo, audio, or video testimonial, we may collect your name or display name, email address, the content, your image, voice, or likeness, product and order details, rating, submission date, consent records, and details of any incentive offered. Using a review or testimonial in paid advertising may require your separate consent.

Marketing details: if you sign up for marketing, we may collect your email address, when and how you consented, your preferences, email open and click activity, unsubscribe history, and records showing that we are allowed to contact you.

Information we do not ask for: we do not intentionally request Social Security numbers, driver's license or passport numbers, other government ID, health information, biometric identifiers, precise geolocation, full payment card details, or information about children. If you send any of this to us, please let us know so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

2. Where the information comes from

We collect information directly from you; automatically through the website, cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies; and from Shopify, payment processors, fraud prevention and security providers, advertising and analytics providers, live chat and support providers, review platforms, email providers, and publicly available or lawfully obtained sources.

3. How we use information

  • To process and deliver orders: taking payments, confirming orders, delivering product keys and download links, sending activation instructions, managing accounts, sending transactional messages, and handling exchanges, replacements, and refunds.
  • To support you: answering questions, diagnosing installation and activation problems, verifying orders, resolving complaints, providing replacements, and keeping support records.
  • To protect you and our business: detecting and preventing fraud and unauthorized transactions, securing accounts, investigating suspicious activity, enforcing our Terms of Service, protecting our legal rights, and keeping the website and network secure.
  • To run and improve the website: monitoring performance, fixing errors, improving navigation and checkout, measuring conversions, understanding product demand, personalizing content, remembering your preferences, and developing new products and services.
  • For advertising and analytics: measuring how well our ads work, attributing purchases to ads, building audiences, remarketing, showing more relevant ads, limiting repeated ads, and improving our campaigns.
  • For marketing: sending newsletters, product news, promotions, and review requests where the law allows.
  • For legal and compliance reasons: keeping accounting and tax records, responding to lawful requests, handling legal claims, meeting consumer protection and regulatory obligations, and keeping consent records.

4. Automated fraud and risk checks

We and our payment providers may use automated systems that look at payment and device risk, IP address, order patterns, previous disputes, account history, and other fraud signals. These checks may delay or decline an order or require extra verification. Where the law gives you this right, you can contact us to ask for a human review of a decision that significantly affects you.

5. Who we share information with

  • Our e-commerce platform: our store runs on Shopify, which hosts the website and processes order, customer, and checkout data on our behalf.
  • Payment and fraud prevention providers: for payments, authentication, fraud prevention, chargebacks, and disputes.
  • Hosting, security, and infrastructure providers: for hosting, content delivery, backups, monitoring, and protection against attacks.
  • Email and delivery providers: for order confirmations, product key delivery, and other customer emails.
  • Support and live chat providers: for support tickets, email management, and live chat, including tawk.to.
  • Analytics and advertising providers: for website analytics, ad attribution, remarketing, audience measurement, and targeted advertising, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, and related Google services.
  • Review providers: for collecting, storing, managing, and publishing reviews and testimonials.
  • Professional advisers: such as lawyers, accountants, insurers, auditors, and consultants.
  • Authorities: where disclosure is required by law, court order, legal process, or a valid request from an authorized public authority.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of the business.

6. Selling and sharing

We do not sell personal information for money. However, our use of advertising cookies, pixels, and similar technologies may count as "sharing" under California law, targeted advertising under other U.S. state laws, or disclosure to third parties for advertising. The information involved can include online and cookie identifiers, IP address, device information, browsing activity on our site, approximate location, ad interactions, and inferences about your likely interests.

You can opt out through the cookie and privacy choices on our website, by sending a supported Global Privacy Control signal, or by emailing support@pcmasters-shop.com.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies:

  • Strictly necessary – for the cart, checkout, security, fraud prevention, login, sessions, and basic website functions.
  • Preferences – to remember settings such as language or currency.
  • Analytics – to understand how visitors use the website and find performance or usability problems.
  • Advertising – to measure ads, remarket, build audiences, and show relevant ads.

Where required, we use non-essential cookies only after you consent through our cookie banner. You can change your choices at any time through the cookie and privacy settings on our website, your browser settings, or your advertising provider settings. Turning off cookies may affect how the website works.

8. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

There is no widely accepted standard for responding to browser Do Not Track signals, so we do not promise to respond to them. Where the law requires, we treat a supported Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising.

9. Marketing messages

Messages about your order, payment, security, delivery, activation, or refund are transactional, not marketing. We send marketing only with your consent, on another lawful basis, or where the law otherwise allows. Every marketing email identifies us and includes a way to unsubscribe. For Canadian recipients, we follow CASL consent, identification, and unsubscribe rules and generally process unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. For Australian recipients, we follow the Spam Act requirements and generally process unsubscribe requests within five working days. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary transactional or legal messages.

10. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, taking into account the type of information, our relationship with you, accounting and tax rules, chargeback and dispute periods, fraud prevention, legal limitation periods, security needs, consent records, and our legal obligations. For example, we keep order and transaction records for accounting, tax, fraud, and legal purposes; account information while your account is active and for a reasonable time afterwards; support records for quality, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention; marketing consent records while we market to you and afterwards to show consent or withdrawal; security logs for a limited time suited to the risk; and reviews for as long as they are published or used under your consent. When we no longer need information, we delete, anonymize, or securely archive it.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information, such as encryption in transit, access controls, limited staff access, authentication, security monitoring, malware protection, backups, fraud prevention tools, careful selection of providers, and incident response procedures. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach occurs, we will investigate and notify affected individuals and authorities where the law requires.

12. International transfers

PC-MASRER LLC is based in the United States. Information from customers in Canada and Australia may be transferred to and processed in the United States, Canada, Australia, and other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different privacy laws. We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and appropriate contractual, security, and other safeguards where required, including the steps required by Australian Privacy Principle 8 for overseas disclosures.

13. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information; receive a portable copy; withdraw consent; opt out of targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of your information; limit certain uses of sensitive information; object to certain processing; appeal a decision on your request; and receive equal service when you exercise these rights. Some rights have exceptions, for example where we must keep records for legal, fraud prevention, security, accounting, or transaction purposes.

14. U.S. state privacy rights

Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may have the right to know what personal information we collect, where it comes from, why we use it, and who we share it with; to delete or correct it; to receive a portable copy; to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising; to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; to use an authorized agent; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. California residents can opt out through our website privacy choices or Global Privacy Control, and may use an authorized agent, in which case we may ask for proof of authorization and identity where the law permits.

California notice at collection. In the past 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information:

  • Customer records (contact and billing details) – used for transactions, support, and compliance; shared with payment, support, and accounting providers.
  • Commercial information (purchases, refunds, product history) – used for fulfillment, analytics, and fraud prevention; shared with payment, analytics, and support providers.
  • Internet activity (pages viewed, clicks, cookies, device data) – used for analytics, security, and advertising; shared with analytics, advertising, and hosting providers.
  • Approximate location (country, region, or city based on IP address) – used for fraud prevention, taxes, language, and advertising; shared with security, payment, and analytics providers.
  • Audio and visual information (video testimonials, photos, support recordings where applicable) – used for reviews, support, and, with consent, advertising; shared with review and marketing providers.
  • Inferences (likely product interests or preferences) – used for personalization and advertising; shared with analytics and advertising providers.
  • Sensitive information (account login and payment authentication data) – used for account security and payment processing; shared with security and payment providers.

We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you that are unrelated to providing or protecting our service.

15. Canadian privacy rights

If you are in Canada, you may ask to access your personal information, learn how it has been used or disclosed, correct inaccurate or incomplete information, and withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual limits. Where PIPEDA applies, we limit collection to what is necessary, keep information only as long as needed, protect it with appropriate safeguards, and provide access and correction. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your provincial privacy authority.

16. Australian privacy rights

If you are in Australia, you may ask to access or correct your personal information, ask how it is handled, and have a privacy complaint reviewed. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles and will respond as Australian privacy law requires. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

17. How to make a privacy request

Email support@pcmasters-shop.com with the subject "Privacy Request" and include your name, the email address linked to your account or order, your country and state, province, or territory, the right you want to exercise, and enough information for us to find your records. We may verify your identity before completing an access, deletion, correction, or portability request, and we use verification information only for that purpose. You can also manage some choices in your account settings or through the cookie and privacy settings on our website. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

18. Children

Our website and products are intended for adults, and you must be at least 18 to place an order. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly sell or share personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

19. Third-party links

Our website may link to software publishers, payment providers, review platforms, support resources, and other third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their privacy policies before sharing information with them.

20. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when laws, technology, website features, service providers, business operations, or our data practices change. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, where required, give additional notice or ask for your consent to material changes.
